When you for example make a video in sony vegas, you need to render the video to see it in a media player or to be able to upload it on internet. First of all I download my clips or movies with a program called RealPlayer, it is free and legal, and render the clips with Prism Video Converter, can be free and can be bought, depends how good you want it, and render them in settings fitting the program you use to edit with. I use sony vegas as example now, after you have rendered it, it is just to drag the clip in the program.
After you have edited and you are satisfied with your video, it is just to go to file, and go render. I recommend to render it as Windows Media Video, as it doesn't take up much space and is just as good as the other settings. I can also come with a tutorial about how to make the video Widescreen HD, or atleast what I've learned and done, but I'm quite busy with the other tutorials already, so I might not make it in time.
